Visited Dental Santuary for My Rct and Dental crown 2 months ago. My RCT was handled by Dr. Vanishree, (General Dentistry) who did an exceptional job. Unfortunately, the crown procedure was highly disappointing. The initial crown was botched which was handled by Dr Vanishree, requiring an on-call doctor, Dr. Ashwini (who owns a clinic near Cambridge Road), to break and restructure it to place a second crown. ​It has now been over two months, and the new crown feels completely wrong. The size, width, length, and diameter were minimized (reduction), so much that it feels entirely off both aesthetically and functionally. It does not feel like my natural tooth at all, and I am extremely uncomfortable. While the clinic has excellent infrastructure and top notch facilities, it seems to rely heavily on junior or on-call doctors for critical follow-ups. Dr. Ashwini had no prior feedback or stories available on Practo, and based on this experience, she would not be my preference. I definitely wouldn't have visited her clinic for any of my dental concerns. I am highly disappointed with the final result and am currently looking to get this crown replaced. Honestly, my root canal-treated tooth felt much better before this tiny crown was placed. Because the healthy tooth structure was aggressively reduced to fit the crown, re-treatment won't be an option if it gets re-infected. This is exactly why having a highly experienced dentist matters so much.
