After reading your history and looking at the photos of the concerned area it seems that there might be some underlying decay in the tooth in the concerned region and the infection has reached its apex. Now, the body has inherent potential to heal any occurring infection. But sometimes it fails to heal completely. This could be the reason why this nodule is occurring of and on.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist, get an x-ray done. A complete examination of the concerned area and the tooth is necessary. If there is any infection of tooth pulp or gums, treatment will be done based on the diagnosis.
Health Tips
Avoid chewing from that side, maintain proper oral hygiene and plan clinic consultation. But remember final diagnosis will be only possible after clinical and radiographic examination.

In the meantime, maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly. You may also rinse your mouth with warm saltwater to help reduce inflammation. Avoid irritating the area further by avoiding spicy or acidic foods. Small white nodules in the gums could be due to various reasons, and it's difficult to diagnose the issue without a proper examination. Here are some possibilities: 1. Canker Sores (Aphthous Ulcers) 2. Dental Abscess 3. Gingivitis
