My mother in law having kidney cyst
My 60 years old mother in law had ultrasound fond in that its mentioned as kidney cyst but doctor is saying stone can u pls help me in identifying.I am attaching the reports

Cyst in both kidneys. Do you have any symptoms or you got this Sonography scan done as a routine investigation ? Treatment will depend on symptoms.

Most kidney cyst are just morphological. They do not cause any issues unless stone is stuck in there . More than 5-6 cyst cause polycystic disease which is a matter of concern. Single cyst is nothing to worry if your MIL is having normal urine . Get KFT test done. But spleenomagaly need further investigation like blood profile
