hello, i would like to ask you first is your teeth root canal treated? if not then it may be the reason as pulp gets sensitive sometimes beacuse of the crown prepration. secondly sometimes beacuse of the size of the crown that is large it can cause a problem because of the high points. but in both cases not to woory it can be coorected. while sensitivity goes itself with time. any large crown can be trimmed.
