My son is 2 year 5 month old, is 16 kg he had this very mild cough issue from past 3 month...initially it was chest infection which was cured by antibiotic course for 10 days but very mild cough is still there... a doctor has diagnosed child asthama and advised salbair inhaler and budate inhaler. For 4 months.

Hi I can fully understand your worry I think you are asking whether the inhalers are needed to treat your baby... For a long standing cough with no other symptoms.. we do give a trial of inhaler... if this does not answer your question... do get in touch with me..

So you mean to say that the inspite of using inhalers , still cough is persisting....( Correct me if I m wrong) There may be technical issues with using the inhaler, you must understand properly how to use .....most of the failure of inhaler therapy occurs due to inadequate use. Contact yr doc to understand the proper technique..... remember inhalers work better then cough syrup mainly in asthama
