If after eye injury ....One still gets foreign body sensation....that it means either the foreign body is still retained in your eye or a small piece of it has remain behind in the eye  after the injury or the injury itself has caused a wound in the eye like corneal injury or conjunctival injury ...and this wound in itself is giving rise to foreign body sensation and pain on eye movements....This is how your body tells you that something is wrong inside your body and it brings the injury or wound to your attention otherwise you will never be aware about it and the situation will worsen.so this needs attention and eye examination by an ophthalmologist ( eye doctor). On examination only it will be clear either of the two which is the cause of your problem. Delaying treatment will only result in infection and it will be a complicating situation as we call it complication. So consult your eye doctor immediately . Hope this answered  your question.
