The wisdom tooth does not "ERUPT" after 21 or 22 years of age.
It is the swelling and inflammation in and around the gums and its resolution which makes the patients feel that the tooth is erupting or going down in its position. Search inflammations are recurrent and may subside with or without medications depending upon the immunity of the patient.
A proper clinical evaluation of the position of the tooth along with an x-ray called as OPG might be required for the proper assessment.
The right treatment can be suggested after that only and most likely it will require extraction of the offending tooth for a permanent solution.
Regards.
