Wisdom tooth extraction

2018-11-16 11:43:20
I had the maxillary wisdom tooth removed about 10 days ago. It was fully errupted. The gum have already covered the socket and there is no more pain. My only concern is whether the depression or hole that is left after tooth removal get filled or not. Right now, food gets stuck easily. And if it does fill, how long will it take approximately. This is common concern and it will close eventually. The soft tissue closes in 7-10 days. The bone may take longer. But that place it’s not critical.
Next Steps
Food getting stuck is common. Just rinse with warm salt water and gently you can remove food that is stubborn with soft tooth brush. If there is no pain then you will heal eventually.
