Will piptaz injection cause blood vomit
My father had experienced a blood vomit soon after 5-10mins of completion of piptaz injection (Piperacillin and tazobactam) via 100ml Sodium Chloride drip. What does this indicate? We informed doctor but they said it is not because of injection.
It’s highly unlikely that pip tax injection will cause blood vomiting unless you are having very forceful vomiting which may cause injury to lower esophageal tear resulting in vomiting of blood. There may be other causes of blood in the vomiting which need to be investigated
