every antibiotic has different uses & doses.. every pt. shud follow the instructions of his doctor & shud take the full course & proper dose of antibiotics as adviced by the doctor.. generally antibiotics r given for 5-10 days in minor infectious conditions.. for chronic or severe diseases, it can be priscribed for months or more than that..
