Some white spots have been appearing in hands and legs for quite some months . Is it a normal process of ageing of the skin and sun exposure ?.

It depends upon the morphology. It may be idiopathic guttate hypopigmentation (the most probable one) or it can be vitiligo too(safed daag). Sometimes tinea ver6can present like this too.
