White spot on upper lip.

My father had a feverish feeling since the last few days and a burning/ prickling sensation in the upper lip. After this this white spot appeared. What is this white spot called? Attached photo. Applying dologel-ct for the last 9 days and also taking multivitamins. Still not healing. He does not have diabetes. Only taking thyroid and cholesterol medication. How long will this take to heal? Please check the photo.

Visit your dental surgeon to determine whether this ulceration Is due to any sharp tooth or faulty prosthesis. In meantime apply kenakort ointment 4-5 times daily. Betadine gargle twice daily. Maintain good oral hygiene Brush your teeth twice daily.
