Over the past month i have developed white patches of dry skin on my face. They don't hurt but burn when i sweat. What can it be?

its dry spot, mostly due to bad weather or vigorous cleaning .
apply a Vaseline on the affected areas in night and wash off in morning. avoid harsh soaps and face wash. use a moisturizer in night and sunscreen while ging out. continue good skin care regime and consult a dermatologist of the condition persisits.
