Today morning after brushing up I noticed a small white circle on the left side of my tongue. Is this something serious?

It's better u would hv uploaded a pic to see. White patch could be of bacteria or fungal infection or lack of proper oral hygiene. Ru having any smoking or guthka habits. Many things will play a role in diagnosis. Request you to visit dentist
