What to do if child is vomiting with fever

My neighbour's son is 4.5 year old. He is having fever from last 4 days. The fever comes and goes and now he is having vomiting too along with fever. What food should we give the child to stop vomiting and what is the treatment for it?

I would advise you to visit the pediatrician so that he can be started on an anti emetic based on his weight. He should stay well hydrated (Aim to drink 3 liters of water). Give him a liquid diet consisting of soups and juices as it would be easier to tolerate for him. Avoid spicy, oily, fried, deep fried and junk food.

Consult your paediatrician asap for physical examination and treatment. Till then,use syp ondem for vomiting half hour before meals and syp paracetamol for fever.
