In each cycle 4 to 5 follicles are selected in any one ovary and from them only one of the follicle becomes dominant,grows in size with each day and ruptures on 14th day in a women with regular cycle.if there is no dominant follicle then ovulation induction is necessary in next cycle.consult ur gynaecologist.
