What is best scan to detect sinucitis? A CT PNS or a MRI PNS? Asking because frontal sinucitis isnt shown in CT scan but in xray it showed i have frontal sinucitis. So what it would be written in CT PNS if i have a "Frontal sinucitis"?

Plain CT scan of Nose&PNS (Axial, Coronal and Sagittal cuts) is enough to diagnose sinusitis

MRI PNS is not required if you already got CT PNS done & it's normal. Definitely CT is over x-ray so don't worry what x-ray showed. It would be better if you share reports picture and your complaints.

CT is far superior than X ray. If it says that you have clear sinuses , don't worry about X ray. X ray report may be wrong.
Next Steps
you don't need to go for MRI
Health Tips
