I got told i have early small airway trapping. What does that mean? I'm a 30 year old male with a history of smoking

Hi. I understand your concern s. It indicates early stage of COPD caused due to smoking. Please stop smoking and undergo a pulmonary function test. If you need help to stop smoking. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest

It means that changes in lung due to smoking have begun and you are at a risk of obseructive airway disease. Hence it is advisable to stop smoking.
