If the baby weight in your anomaly scan comes out normal, then nothing to worry. Increase protein content in your diet including protein powder if necessary. Use the same scale to check your weight each time. Everyone gains weight in pregnancy differently.

A weight gain of around 1 kg by 19 weeks is on the lower side but not immediately worrying, especially if you started at a healthy weight. Expected total pregnancy weight gain for a normal pre-pregnancy BMI is 11 to 16 kg, with most of that in the second and third trimesters. Roughly 4 to 6 kg is expected between weeks 20 and 30, so there is a natural catch-up phase ahead.
Next Steps
Please share your current weight with your obstetrician at the next visit and ask them to check the baby's growth on the anomaly or growth scan. Track your daily calorie intake for a week to see if you are eating around 300 extra calories a day beyond your usual, which is the second-trimester requirement. Include protein at every meal, healthy fats like nuts and ghee, and full-fat dairy.
Health Tips
If nausea or vomiting is still limiting food intake at 19 weeks, please mention it to your doctor. Ongoing hyperemesis needs treatment because the baby is drawing from your stores.
