Intermittent hearing loss in left ear since last 1 month. pain on mastication and on pressing the ear also. otoscopy shows severe wax in ear.

Have a. I can understand your concern. Here is what you need to do. Don't ever put anything in the ear. If the wax is impacted wax, then it needs to be removed by a ENT specialist. Or he can prescribe you some medicine to dissolve the wax in the form of ear drops. But before doing all that, we need to see if there is intact tympanic membrane. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
