Want to stop bp medicine

2025-08-20 14:50:13
My BP usually stays close to 120/80 at home, but due to stress and anxiety it can sometimes rise dramatically to around 150/100. These spikes last only a few minutes and then return to normal without treatment. At the doctor’s office, it’s always high, so they keep adjusting medicines. Telma has worked best, and I’ve been on it for six months. Still, I’m unsure if I need to continue BP medicine since my spikes seem anxiety-related. My doctor says it’s protective and has minimal side effects.

If your B.P. rises frequently, better to take continue telma. Learn to relax adequately by pranayam and meditation. Avoid fatty, very salty, foods, alcohol and smoking. Also get a blood sugar and lipid profile done.
