Want to know the cause

My father is suffering from TB (and a diabetic patient too) and he is under medications whenever he takes TB medicine he get vomit and dark yellowish urine passes. Is this due to medicines or it is another disease & how to control Vomit as whatever he eats its get vomit?

Hi. I understand your concern s. Urine colour is due to medications nothing to worry but for vomiting he will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest

Please visit your treating physician. TB medications can cause acidity and gastritis which can lead to vomiting, however it is best that you do a liver function test and show it to the doctor. The medications can lead to orangish red urine.

Red to dark orange urine might happen due to TB treatment medications. Vomiting is a side effect but if its severe and recurrent you need to get his LFT done. Symptomatic treatment with antiemetics is suggested.Review with LFT reports
