Vomiting due to Cold
My daughter is 55 days old and she vomits after every feed. She is having this problem for past 4 days.Pediatrician said it is due to cold and prescribed "Domstal baby drops", "Cory care drops" & "Huch nasal spray". Even after taking these medicines still she is vomiting. Pls let me know what could be the problem?
Pl check the weight gain of the child. If weight gain is appropriate hydration adequate nothing to worry about vomit. Probably because of aerophagia. If poor weight gain &signs of dehydration present need to check out other causes of vomit. Pl burp well after each feed. Go fo exclusive breast feeds for six complete months. Regards

Hi, children don't cough ,they vomit. Rapid respiration, indrawing of ribs,poor feeding,fever , change in voice suggests lower respiratory tract infection ,continue medication if cold doesn't subside ,investigation like chest x ray and sputum examination may be required . consult doctor in higher hospital.
