Vitiligo- Trioxsalen tablets

2022-12-01 15:32:10
Namaste, I had been using whitcare,Placentrex gel, etc, for the last two years for vitiligo. Now I have vitiligo all over my body. Recently, the doctor prescribed me Trioxasalen tablets. He told me to expose the vitiligo affected areas to sunlight after 90 minutes for 5 minutes and, most importantly, shut eyes when I do that. Is it ok to wear sun glasses instead of shutting eyes.

For 24 hours after you take each dose of Trioxsalen, your eyes should be protected with special wraparound sunglasses during daytime that totally block UV rays to prevent cataracts. For more information take online consultation.
