This is Post-inflammatory hypopigmentation. It is a loss of skin color (pigmentation) after your skin heals from an injury. The pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) are damaged or destroyed in the healing process. Post inflammatory hypopigmentation is a temporary problem. As long as the underlying skin problem can be controlled and no new bumps develop, the lighter areas will slowly go away. There is medication which can help improve this condition. Consult a Dermatologist with relevant pictures.
