Viral eye infection

Diagnosed with viral eye infection. Been having redness in one eye. Got a mild sticky discharge a couple of mornings. Having drooping eye or eye looks smaller (affected eye) which is mainly worrying me. How long will it take to the eye to get back to normal size? Am taking prescribed moisten and moxigram d. P.S: I generally have dry eyes sure to Lasik done 13yrs back.

Stop the antibiotic drops .. they have no role to play in viral conjunctivitis . Can apply cold compresses, continue lubricants , don’t touch or rub the affected eye.. it is a self limiting condition which will disappear in a week or two . Maskatieyeclinic Opposite Charni Road station east, Mumbai

Hello, For how long have you been using the mentioned drops?! And what frequency? Viral conjunctivitis depending on severity can take anywhere from couple of days to few weeks to resolve completely.
