I have been suffering from varicocele since last one year Recently the pain and swelling are intolerable and low sperm count. I have to consult urology doctor they told me for surgery. What to do

There are grades of varicocele, If varicocele is significant as detected by urologist and causing pain& low sperm count, surgery is advisable.both laparoscopic & open procedures are effective and gives good relief.
