Vaginal pain in pregnancy

Hello Doctor I am 23 weeks pregnant with twins. From yesterday I am having consistent vaginal pressure and sharp pain which comes and goes. Is that normal at this stage or is it related to cervix dilation. At 20 weeks scan cervix was 3.7 please clarify thanks.
