Vaccination

Hi. As it is said that a COVID-19 positive patient must not get vaccinated. But what if a person doesn't know that he has COVID, and goes for vaccination. Let's say if he/she doesn't get any symptoms for 4-5days and he goes for vaccination. Or he just got the symptoms and still goes for vaccination. What then!

It is said that covid patient should not get vaccinated because: Virus and vaccine both induce immunity in the body. If the body responds to the virus (active infection /symptomatic) then the purpose of the vaccine is wasted. Vaccine taken during symptoms (undiagnosed covid) will not harm the person. But it's going to be of no use to the patient. In health centres, you are asked if you have symptoms. Only asymptomatic person is vaccinated.

if unsure, regarding symptoms check rtpcr before vaccination.
