Hello Doctor, My father aged 70 had long penile and short bulbar utheral strictures and had chronicle UTI. Last month he underwent Urethrotomy and he's looking better now. I heard reoccurence chances are so high for long strictures, could you kindly advice what precautions we can take to prevent reoccurrence. Some sites prefer self catheterization, but my father also have dementia, so dont think he can manage at this age.  Could please help and advice any simple precautionary steps or can we try homeopathy or ayurveda?
