My mother having bleeding since 5years,repeating every year.Every time wit tablets like pauseMF,sevista bleeding stops.This time wit again bleeding,doctor prescribed pauseMF & Deviry10mg.Now repeating every year,doctor is suggesting for open surgery instead of Laproscopy to remove UTERUS.Reports r attached.plz suggest
Those who r not trained for laparoscopy will always always suggest open surgery. Ur treatment first of all is not correct. Deviry will undoubtedly stop bleeding but on long term would thicken the endometrium and cause worsening of the problem. Deviry was never a good choice

You have not mentioned your mothers age.there are now other medical methods available for bleeding problem.also surgical methods without removal of uterus can be given a chance.hysterectomy should be kept as A last option when all other treatments fail.laparoscopic surgery can surely be done in your case.
