Uterus Removal in April 2022

My Mother uterus was removed in April 2022. FIGO3. Radiology was also done (3 sessions). All finish. Doctors not said for any tests and not mentioned any followup. ...But my father is asking if there is any recurrence test exists and shall we do that? Or not to take stress at all for recurrence.

Be on regular follow up with your oncologist 3 monthly follow up is needed Tests like -Mri pelvis with contrast/ per vaginal examination is needed at regular intervals. U can go for online consult with us and get tests done at diagnostic labs also.

Physical examination every 3-6 months for 2 years, then every 6-12 months for 3 years Pelvic examination every 3-6 months for 2 years, then every 6-12 months for 3 years Pap test every year if cervix is present Chest x-ray or CT scan if indicated by symptoms or risk factors This is what we recommend Built it’s also very essential to consult an oncologist regarding any symptoms that you find unusual .
