Have you done a urine test (RE/ME/CS)? Sometimes the bug causing the urine infection may not be sensitive to some of the antibiotics. Hence they have to be treated with the specific antibiotic they are sensitive to.
The urine test will tell us which antibiotics the infection will respond to. Despite treating with appropriate antibiotics, if the infection is recurrent, you will need an ultrasound to check your kidneys, ureters and bladder, along with a post void USG. You may also benefit with a three month course of low dose antibiotics, after treating the primary infection. This course generally prevents recurrence.
