Uretor abd kidney stone
I had kidney and right upper uretor stone. I operated 25 days earlier using ureteroscope Ho : yag laser and DJ stent were placed and lithotripsy process.
Yesterday I did ultrasound and in report again 1 stone in right upper uretor and renal pelvis again shown.
I met doctor again and he told to re ureteroscope surgery again.
Is it good to operate again in 25 days ???
Please sir / mam suggest.
Part of upper ureteic stones may have been migrated and may not have been visible during 1st ureteroscopic procedure.
Putting dj stent facilitates better access of ureteroscopic access hence better chances of removal of residual calculus.
Results of all these procedure is not 100 percent even with best hands with best equipments and staged procedure may provide better results
