Understanding course of treatment

I'm 29 years old and have been TTC for about a year now .I was diagnosed with mild PCO last year but after a 12 kg weight loss, I have regular periods for the last 9 months. I have been tracking ovulation using OPK kits and have seen a LH surge every cycle for the last 5-6 cycles. Husband's semen analysis is normal. Last cycle we tested for Day 2 FSH was 6.5 and LH was 5.3, day 21 progesterone was 17. I was prescribed letroz 5mg every night for this cycle. Took HCG injection on day 13. On Day 15, follicle ruptured. Follocle size on day 13 was 2.4*2.3 and ET two layer 8.5mm. Why was i given this course of treatment- i have been ovulating naturally as well?

As you are not conceiving naturally, your chances are being accentuated by inducing ovulation.

Connect please. You are ovulating naturally but still not conceiving so treatment is being given to enhance the chances and accurately predict the time of ovulation so that timed sexual contact or IUI cab be advised. Connect please for better understanding
