This grew just 2-3 days back and is accompanied by pain in the underarm. it is paining a lot. Does this mean any underlying symptoms. can I apply hot water cotton gently over it? Any relief medication?

Its due to hair follicle root infection. Usually very painful. Generally subsides within 2 to 3 days Just keep the area clean. Taking the pus out by yourself isn't advisable. You may take the over the counter pain killer for symptomatic relief. This sometimes happens after shaving.
