My mother has a problem of urinating in sleep she has this problem since last 2 years and also sometimes she has swelling in her ankles and foot.

She needs more evaluation, involuntary passage of urine is called incontinence which can be caused by multiple causes which could be as simple as infection and as complex as neurogenic bladder.     This requires further information and please consult a urologist for the same.     If any more information required please ask.
