Hi, My Father has been diagnized with Umbilical Hernia in Apollo Hospital, Nellore and Laproscopic surgeon suggested to go with surgery and it can't be cure with medicines. My father abdominal (is showing litle bit bigger from last 1 year)and swelling at Umbilical. 1. Please suggest whether surgery is the only the option or with tablets it can be cure?.. 2.Open surgery is best or Laproscopic is best ? 3. with mesh is possibility of infection?
