Typhoid - Leucocytes Counting 14820

My father is suffering typhoid. As per the blood report leucocytes counting is 14820 where normal range is 4000-11000. Please suggest me...

Yes elevation in blood glucose levels are signs of infection . Since we have confirmed that he has typhoid antibiotics and other medicines advised will be sufficient to control his disease . May be after a couple of days you can repeat a blood routine evaluation which will shows the decreasing trend of leucocytes and other parameters

In every infection the will be increase WBC(leucocytes)... It's like if there is an enemy(bacteria) in your zone..you will produce more army (leucocytes) to attack the enemy.... If you need any other suggestion...i will b happy to give What treatment he is taking?
