Hello madam The titres alone as such are not usually diagnostic but indicative only. There are tests available like typhidot IgG and IgM as well. But confirmatory test is always isolation of salmonella typhi -the causative agent of typhoid fever. Also the clinical characteristics that presentation is a major factor in deciding about the diagnosis. As in your case what is the grade if fever and what are other symptoms associated with fever. What is the trend like any specific times  when there is fever, like evening rise, intermittent or continuous etc. Point is having the high titres alone will not be a diagnostic but suggestive only.
