I am 12 weeks pregnant.. As per NT scan, I have dichorionic twins.. One twin is healthy but the other baby has anencephaly issue. Hence I did not do fetal reduction as there is a risk for miscarriage.. I am attaching my double marker test. Please let me know any issue..

Double marker has very less predictability due to high hormonal level due to multiple pregnancy.need to consult a fetal geneticist for appropriate advice honestly.

Dual marker tells possibility of Downn’s or Edverd ‘s syndrome which generally have mental retardation Anencephaly in on other hand is with incompatible of living after birth If reports of dual marker in twins gestation are showing increase probability of Down’s syndrome Then one shud do noninvasive maternal blood test for fetal chromosomal sampling or shud confirm with amniocentesis If Dual marker is normal then need not worry n do even quadruple markers for double confirmation Anencephaly can grow for 9 mths n I have seen child servicing for 11 mths post delivery
