Tuberculosis test

AFB sputum came negative. But mild fever and weight loss there. No problem in chest and xray PA normal. What other test to do for TB.

If sputum for AFB is negative means no chest tb but it can be in other parts so if long standing fever go for further evaluation.

Did u mean pulmonary (lung) tb? If so CT chest can be done or brochoalveolar lavage with sample for CBNAAT can be done...after pulmonologist opinion... CBNAAT is the gold standard test now
