Hello,
A single dose of the tetanus toxoid (TT) vaccine provides protection for about 6 to 12 months. However, for long-term immunity, a booster dose is recommended every 5–10 years. If you had a TT shot last May, you are likely still protected, but if you are at risk of injury, a booster might be needed.
