My brother is having ear pain . it started due to wearing turban.Consulted with many doctors . Prescribed drugs like mazetol ,gabapentin etc When stop taking these drugs pain comes back with more intensity. He don't want to take more drugs. Is there any surgical option available and what diagnostic test to be carried out to see the condition of nerve.

I don’t assume that he has problems particularly at such young age. Any investigations. Probably needs a proper consultation for curing his problem. Doesn’t look like neuralgia. Thanks

Assuming your brother has trigeminal neuralgia as your have stated, medications are the first line for management of this condition. MRI of the brain with special sequences to look at trigeminal nerve can be done to look for any neuro-vascular conflict. If he refuses to take medications then it's a problem with him. He has to take medications..
