My 2.5 years old daughter was suffering from virul fever. After online consultation Dr. Prescribed Taxim o & Meftagesic P. After 2days of taking antibiotic she poops 4 times with semi liquid stool for next 2days. After that it was normal stool. Will it be treated as post Antibiotic diarrhea? Is she required any medicine? Before coming fever she was taking Zincovit syrup. Can it be continue now?

She is not having Viral fever , as there is no cough or cold or rash . She is having Urine infection,

Antibiotic associated diarrhea is common. Syp Biffilac/ vizylac 3.5ml twice daily for 3 days will help in replenishment of normal gut flora.
Next Steps
keep giving lots of fluids including ORS Khichdi curd bananas and cocunut water to prevent dehydration

Continue with zincovit as zinc supplementation helps in intestinal mucosal repair.
