Travel in 5month with Placenta Posterior

2023-02-07 04:06:28
Respected Doctors, We are in second trimester, 21st week. Had our anamoly scan last week. Everything is normal but placenta is posterior grade 1 with 3.8cm from internal os. Doctor asked my wife to take complete rest alone and told travel is not advisable. Here in Karaikal the medical facility is not that much good and we are alone here. My wife will be all alone once I go to office. Hence we thought of travelling to our hometown. The distance is 380Kms . No direct trains are available. Have to take 2 trains. In third month the Placenta is low lying less than 1cm from internal os..now it moved. We need suggestions regarding travel to hometown. Whether it's advisable now or shall we wait till 7th month? My wife wants to do some little work and go for walking. Whether it is ok with Placenta Posterior She's taking Iron Syrup after lunch. Taking Calcium tablet, Aspirin 150 and Susten SR 200 after dinner . I attached  5th month scan report for your reference. Thanks 🙏.

Yes she can travel. Placenta has moved up. She can do light house hold work and daily walking too. She should not overstrain herself
