Toxo IgG +ve IgM -ve
I am 5 week pregnant and I found that toxoplasma IgG is high and IgM is normal. So do i need to take medicines for it ?
In my last pregnancy 3 years ago i also get toxo igg positive and igm negative and my Gynaec had put me on Spye tablets till delievery .
I'd researched on it and found that if Toxo igg is positive that mean mother is immunised and not at risk of transmitting infection to fetus. Am i Right?

Toxo IgG being positive depicts the infection sometimes in past, and ur immunised against the infection,and least likely to pass the infection down the line,,whereas positive IgM indicates active infection status and possibility of transmission into fetus.
