My son is 9 months old and he has a tongue tie. My worry is what is the correct time of its treatment or we should wait to find out if it's required or not. Please suggest.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Is he facing any difficulties because of it? Most commonly feeding and speech difficulties are encountered. You can take him to a general surgeon or a pediatric surgeon and they will examine your child and suggest you further.
