Total Lipid profile value fluctuation

I would like to know if there's any difference in Total lipid profiles results on fasting and non fasting. I got the total lipid profile checked 7 days ago to find that my all parameters are well withing the range. However, after 7 days I took the blood test again post prandial to find out the parameters had values outside of desired range. Please guide, which tests are correct, fasting or non fasting.
