I was infected with mild covid 30 days back and facing tooth ache now. I consulted a dentiat and he has asked for tooth removal. Is it safe to get the tooth removed now given that I was positive till one week back.

If you were positive one week, I would suggest you to postpone the treatment as you may be tested negative but you may still be seropositive and can act as an asymptomatic carrier. It is advisable to use a  course of antibiotics. If the pain is unbearable and emergency then your dentist will do the extraction taking all the safety measures. Some patients are also using steroids and blood thinners. If you did pls inform your dentist.
Next Steps
Use a course of antibiotics and delay treatment for 2-3 weeks
Health Tips
Show the medication you used during Covid to your doctor.

It's totally safe to go for extraction. Still, stay alert about precautionary measures during the procedure.
